Tubba Blubba is an oversized Clubba who was born in Gusty Gulch. He is not very smart and he is actually a very sensitive creature. Even as a baby, he was tormented ruthlessly by Boos and other ghosts. As he grew up, he developed cowardice and was utterly afraid...until Bowser came along. Tubba was very powerful..just emotionally unstable. And so, Bowser used the Star Rod to remove Tubba's heart..making him utterly invincible. With his newfound invincibility, he set out against the ghosts who ruined his life. He had no true way of doing so, however..until he found out he could eat them. And he discovered they were utterly delicious. In return for his powers, Bowser had him guard a star spirit..whom he neglected and the result was that it escaped. Nevertheless, Tubba continued his reign of terror until Mario reunited him with his heart and subsequently stopped him.
Afterwards, Tubba begged for forgiveness, released the Boos he ate, and fled. He stayed hidden from the Boos..and Bowser, whom he was afraid of. Sooner or later, his heart parted with him again as shown in the ending parade and Tubba has somewhat reverted to his old days with this RP..but there's still good Tubba somewhere in there..right?
The trick to beating Tubba when he's heartless, as is the current case, is pretty much outwitting him. He is very incapable of using his brainpower without his heart. Fighting him will lead you nowhere but in a world of pain. And if you're a ghost...you'll probably be eaten.

Dear diary.
Umm... I'm not sure what to write, so I guess I'll have to write what happened a while ago with the boos nerbay.
-Erases 'nerbay'-
nearby.
Soo... umm... I used to be known as the invisible -erases invisible- invincible Tubba Blubba. I ate ghosts and they were all scared of me. It was backpay for -erases backpay- payback for scaring me all the time.
-Pauses before continuing-
And then Mario and a really pretty boo showed up and beat me up. The boo kept smacking me with a fan that hurt a lot more than it looked like it should.
